Wing Kingz is operated by MyliusTech LLC ("MyliusTech," "we," "us," or "the app"). Wing Kingz helps friend groups organize wing nights, events, and outings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Wing Kingz, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you create an account (with email and password, or via Sign in with Apple or Google), we collect your email address and a unique account identifier.
- Profile information. The name, profile photo, "Wing King since" year, favorite wing type, and any optional details (favorite teams, bar, or food spot) you choose to add.
- Content you create. Groups you join or create, events and summons, RSVPs, wing spots, ratings and reviews, chat messages, and any photos you upload.
- Location. With your permission, your device's location is used to center the Wing Map on you and sort nearby wing spots by distance. Location is used only while you are using the app; we do not track your location in the background.
- Notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can deliver alerts about your group.
- Usage data. Basic, aggregated usage and diagnostic information to keep the app reliable.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the app's core features — groups, events, summons, chat, the Wing Map, and RSVPs.
- To send notifications you've opted into (new events, summons, comments, and chat).
- To show your profile, posts, and messages to other members of your group.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
How Your Information Is Shared
- With your group. Your profile, events, posts, ratings, and chat messages are visible to other members of the Wing Kingz group(s) you belong to. Data is scoped to your group — members of other groups cannot see it.
- Service providers. We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, and push notifications), Google Maps (the Wing Map), and Apple and Google Sign-In. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
- Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and access-controlled cloud infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Children's Privacy
Wing Kingz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Your Choices
- You can turn notifications on or off in the app's Settings or your device settings.
- You can grant or revoke location access in your device settings.
- You can edit or remove your profile details and content within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
